AIPAWS is a microlearning app designed to help higher-education students build practical generative AI literacy through short, game-like interactions.

Learners care for a virtual pet whose well-being reflects their progress as they complete brief quizzes, receive immediate feedback, and unlock new modules. The app’s content is grounded in established AI literacy frameworks and organized into four areas: AI Basics, Ethics and Safety, AI in Daily Life, and Creative AI.

By combining playful design, emotional engagement, and structured reflection, AIPAWS encourages persistence, curiosity, and more thoughtful evaluation of AI-generated outputs in students’ everyday academic work.

If you are curious, the screen on the left is a small demo of AIPAWS in its current stage. For now, I have fully built only one module in AI Basics - limitations. The other areas, including Ethics and Safety, AI in Daily Life, and Creative AI, are being developed next. This page is simply a preview of how the full experience will continue to grow.
